"Three Before Me"
Upset Student Situations
Situation #2: "Stupid Assignment Sheet"

In order to help students be organized and more effective at getting work done, this teacher has initiated the use of an Assignment Sheet. Each day students are responsible to write in their Assignment Sheet the assignment given that day and any other important information listed on the board. The teacher checks each student’s Assignment Sheet every three weeks and gives each student a maximum of 30 points of credit for having it completed. This student hates doing this Assignment Sheet and thinks it is too juvenile. He/she says that he/she can remember what has to be done and does not need to write it on some silly piece of paper in a notebook. The student also thinks he/she should not be docked 30 points for not doing this "stupid" Assignment Sheet.

The students starts of the conversation with: "How come we have to do those stupid assignment sheets?"
